Mini Album Memories with My Fab Four Friends – A Stampin’ Up! Keepsake

There’s nothing quite like crafting with good friends, and I recently put together a sweet little mini album to capture some unforgettable moments from my Stampin’ Up! events with my beloved “Fab Four Friends.” I wanted to create something compact, meaningful, and full of character—and this project checked every box!

The Inspiration

After our latest gathering, I found myself with little bits of memorabilia—ticket stubs, photos, funny quotes, and even a few doodles we passed around during a demo (you know the ones!). Rather than tuck them away in a drawer, I decided to bring them to life in a mini album that reflects both our creativity and our friendship.

The Construction

I used Stampin’ Up!’s Flip Flap Memory Protectors in two sizes: 4" x 4" and 3" x 3". These protectors were the perfect size to hold small photos, handwritten notes, and mementos from our events.

The base of the album is made from a piece of Mixed Media Florals Designer Series Paper, cut to 10 1/2" x 4 3/4" and scored in the middle at 5 1/4". This floral print gave the album a bright, artsy vibe—just like our time together.

To give it structure, I created a spine from a coordinating piece cut at 5 1/4" x 1 1/2" and scored at 3/4". This gave just the right amount of room to nestle in the flaps and give the album a book-like feel.

The Personal Touches

I layered in memorabilia from our events—little things that make this album extra special: name tags, pieces of stamped cardstock, a mini color swatch from our last product showcase, and handwritten notes we exchanged. I even used grid paper cut down to fit for my journaling.

Why I Love It

This mini album is a tangible reminder of why I love Stampin’ Up!—it’s not just about the products (though those are amazing!), it’s about the people. The laughter, the shared creativity, the encouragement—it’s all here between these little pages.

If you haven’t tried making a mini album yet, I highly recommend it. It’s a beautiful way to preserve the joy of your crafting friendships—and it makes a great project for your next event!

Happy Stamping & Memory Making!

Let me know if you make a Flip Flap Mini Album —I’d love to share and see what you create too. 💕

Hues Of Happiness Drop Down Mini Album Tutorial

Hello, and welcome! I made another Drop Down Mini Album with the same design as the one I showed HERE. I thought I would include some pictures, and measurements so you can try one for yourself. Be sure and visit the previous blog post for more information, as I just made a smaller version than the one that inspired these cute Mini Albums. I can thank Mary Gunn of Craft Roulette. She showed a 12" x 12" Drop Down Album on her first episode of Craft Roulette. It is linked in the first post.

I started with an 8 1/4" x 8 1/4" piece of Gorgeous Grape Card Stock for the base. Score this piece at 2 3/4" on all four sides. Burnish the folds with a bone folder.

Next, remove some sections using a paper cutter, or scissors. You can take out more sections if desired. You can't leave too many sections attached because it would be too bulky to fold. I removed two squares on the left, and one on the right.

Your album is now ready to decorate. I used pieces of the lovely Hues Of Happiness Paper that measure 2 1/2" x 2 1/2". I also used a comparable size square cut from the Stitched Shapes Die Set, as well as a circle that fit. Stamp images before adding them to your album. You can add stickers, die cuts, and even photos to personalize your album.

I added a Belly Band to keep my albums closed. It measures 1 1/4" x 7", and had a 1" strip of Designer Series Paper on it. You could also use ribbon, or even a stretchy band.

Thanks for joining me today! I hope you will try one of these cute albums for yourself!

Mini Drop Down Album For Craft Roulette Episode 156

Hello, and welcome. My album was inspired by the now retiring Hues Of Happiness 12" x 12" paper. This beautiful paper pack will be available while supplies last. The new 2023-2024 Annual Catalog goes live May 2, 2023.

The host of Craft Roulette, Mary Gunn made a Drop Down Album on her first episode of Craft Roulette. That inspired my creation. She made hers with 12" x 12" paper for the base. I made my album 8 1/4" x 8 1/4". Score at 2 3/4" on all four sides. Remove any sections that you wish. The squares are 2 1/2" x 2 1/2".

I followed the parameters set from Craft Roulette, Episode #156. You can see it on YouTube HERE. These were the parameters:

    1. Mini Drop Down

    2. Inspired By Patterned Paper Colors

    3. Bouquet

    4. Three Layers

Craft Roulette airs every Friday evening at 6:30 Central Time on You Tube. You should check it out. It's a fun way to make us step outside our crafty boxes.

I will be back later with a picture tutorial on how I made my Mini Drop Down Album. Thanks for joining me today!

New Catalog Sneak Peek

I've been wanting to make an Altoid Tin Mini Album for a long time, and finally took the chance to do that. The lovely orange color lining the top is an upcoming In Color called Terracotta Tile. I also used pieces of Mosaic Moods Designer Series Paper, and a stamp set called Floral Essence.

The pretty humming birds were cut out by hand from the Mosaic Mood paper. This paper set is lovely with it's shiny accents.

I didn't do much with the outside of the tin. I thought the original color coordinated enough with the designer paper so I left it. I saw some directions that said that you could sand off the paint. I just added a few Rhinestone Basic Jewels to the top.

All these new products will be available June 4, 2019. We still have lots of wonderful products left on the Clearance Rack, as well as the retiring goodies.

Be sure and check out my Online Shop for products that are retiring. These items sell out fast, so don't miss out. You can also shop the Clearance Rack for great discounts.

Paper Pumpkin Mini Album

Hello, and welcome! I used stamps, and products from past Paper Pumpkin kits to make this cute little mini album. I cut two card bases from the February Wildflower Wishes set in half, but only used 3 of the pieces. I attached the pieces back to front using Tear & Tape, but only on the top and bottom. That made two pockets for the tags. It really came out cute. You can add anything you want to the blank parts.

I plan on showing how to make these little creations on my next episode of Watch Me Wednesday. I will be live on my Jean's Paper Jewels Online Facebook page, March 28, at 8:30pm EST. Simply request to join before it airs if you aren't in the group. The video always stays there so you can watch it anytime afterwards as well.

Our annual Sale-A-Bration campaign is almost over. It ends March 31, 2018.

Stampin' Up! Birthday Memories Mini Album

Hello, and welcome! I showed this adorable mini album on my Face Book Live post week before last. I used products from our Birthday Memories Suite. It was really quite easy to do. I found the instructions on Pinterest by a gal whose blog is stampingjo.com. Add SU Clear Envelope Album in her search to bring up the post.

I can see so many wonderful uses for this easy book. It can be made into a recipe book as well. It doesn't take very many supplies, and you can make it as simple or elaborate as you want. I plan on making more as birthday gifts. Maybe I will get a head start on Christmas...we'll see.

I made this card to match the album.

Give Thanks Mini Album

The beautiful Stampin' Up! Color Me Autumn Designer Series Paper set the tone for this mini waterfall album. I have seen these little albums all over the internet. I found a tutorial for one on a blog called My Sisters Scrapper. It holds quite a few pictures and such. The inside of the cover is a pocket so that even more can be added. The beautiful paper along with the For All Things Stamp Set were all I needed to make a wonderful little Autumn gift album.

Thanks for stopping by today. Have a good weekend!

Little Boy Mini Album

Hello and welcome! I used a lot of Stampin' Up! goodies for this little waterfall album. They are really so much fun to make. A very talented friend of mine, Vivian Parada, came up with the dimensions for this mini album. My weekly craft group has been making quite a few. Each one has been so different and unique. It is the same pattern that I used to make my Project Life inspired album a few weeks ago. Vivian is going to make the pattern into a PDF soon. I will be sure and let you know when it's available.
Thanks for stopping by!
