Pop-Up Fun with the Adventurous Sky Bundle

Pop-Up Fun with the Adventurous Sky Bundle & Lorna Label Die!

There's something extra special about interactive cards, and this one is no exception! I recently created a fun pop-up cardusing the fabulous Adventurous Sky Bundle from Stampin’ Up! paired with the Lorna Label Pop-Up Die Set by Karen Burniston—what a perfect match!

I love how the airplane theme really takes off with the added dimension of the pop-up inside. The die set makes it super easy to create a professional-looking interactive element without complicated measuring or folds.

Whether you’re making cards for birthdays, encouragement, or just because, adding a pop-up element brings such a joyful surprise to the recipient. This card is definitely one of my new favorites!

Trucking Along Penny Slider Card For Craft Roulette Episode 239

I made this project following the parameters set from Craft Roulette, Episode #239 featuring Jenn Gross as the guest. You can see it on YouTube HERE. The little truck is on a Penny slider mechanism to make it interactive. To do this, you cut a channel in the cardstock. Place a Penny on the back at the channel then add a Stampin' Dimensional on top. Glue another Penny on the part you want to slide, then stick it to the Dimensional. This makes the truck slide along the channel. I lined the backside of the "road" with another piece of Basic Black, and raised the slider layer up on Dimensionals to give it room to move.

Here are a couple more Slider Cards I made in the past. Bella Slider Card

Slimline Butterfly Slider Card

These were the parameters:

    1. Project - Interactive Card

    2. Colors - Picnic

    3. Element - Farm

    4. Random - Paper Strips

Craft Roulette airs every Friday evening at 6:10 Central Time on You Tube. You should check it out. It's a fun way to make us step outside our crafty boxes.

Classic Garage Spinner Card

This card is for my grandson's upcoming 7th birthday. I used products from the Classic Garage Suite. It's an interactive spinner card. I haven't made one in years. The car spins from one side of the track to the other when tilted. I cut the track with a die from another company. I used an old tutorial from Splitcoast Stampers. Click HERE to see it.

Check out the cute details on this card. The little metal wrench is from the Classic Garage Metal Elements. You get 16 pieces; 8 each of 2 designs - a wrench, and a key. I used the matching Garage Gears Thinlits Dies to cut out the Real Red Car, and the Basic Black gear pieces. The Real Red sentiment on the inside is from our Happy Birthday Thinlet Die. The stamped bolts are included in the stamp set.

Action Wobble Barnyard Babies - Paper & Ink Sketches #1

My upline, Angie Juda, has started a new sketch program called Paper & Ink Sketches.  She will post a new sketch the first, and third Wednesday of every month for the next twelve months. This is the sketch that came out last Wednesday.

I used the cute cow, and sentiment from Barnyard Babies. The Cucumber Crush Designer Series Paper is from the 2015-2017 In Color Paper Pad. Each piece measures 5-1/4" x 2".  The card base is our Whisper White Thick Card Stock. The border in the middle was cut with an MFT die. The fun thing about this card is that the cow is mounted on an action wobble spring. It makes it wobble, and move. Interactive Cards are so much fun.

This was such a fun card to make! It only took a few supplies, and in a short amount of time I had a cute card ready to go.

Try the sketch, and make some cards for yourself. Enjoy your day.
