Craft Roulette Episode 294 – My Peaceful Garden A2 Fun Fold

This week’s Craft Roulette challenge (Episode 294) was such a delight! The wheel gave us a wonderful set of parameters, and I instantly knew I wanted to reach for the beautiful Peaceful Garden Designer Series Paper and the Peace On Earth Bundle. The project that came together is an elegant, wintery A2 fun fold filled with Christmas blues, mountain elements, and just the right touch of sparkle.

📝 The Parameters

🎯 Project: A2

I created an A2 fun fold card using the Peaceful Garden DSP as the star of the show. The soft patterns, snowy branches, and serene feel were perfect for a holiday card. The fun fold adds interactive charm without adding bulk.

🎨 Colors: Holiday

The wheel landed on Holiday, so I chose Christmas Blues—cool, peaceful shades that pair beautifully with winter themes. The Night of Navy card base grounds the design with rich color, while the DSP brings in soft coordinating hues.

🏔️ Element: From the Mountains

This one inspired the whole direction of the card. The doves from the Peace On Earth Bundle look like they’re gently flying above a mountain landscape, and the DSP even includes delicate tree branches that echo a wintery, mountainous scene. It was a perfect match!

✨ Random: Fancy Paper

To top it all off, I added glimmer paper to the top of the tag for extra sparkle. I also created a fancy die-cut border along the right side of the card to add texture and elegance. A little shimmer goes a long way on a holiday card!

• Basic White Inside Layer:
  2 1/2" x 5"

This combination creates a clean, crisp fun fold with plenty of room for stamping, layering, and decorating.
